The World Health Organization says a new Colombian variant of SARS-CoV-2 called “Mu” has been observed. Naturally (as with all previous variants), “scholars” fear that it may be more vaccine-resistant than other variants.
Keeping the audience in constant suspense guarantees the ongoing popularity of the series. In this case, however, it is not television, but what can be described as the real life drama.
And so the mainstream media is presenting the new season of COVID-19 “episodes”:
That variant, called Mu, was first detected in Colombia in January, and has been announced just as the Delta variant finally appears to be peaking in the U.S.
Over 4,600 cases of the variant, whose scientific name is B.1.621, have been spotted since then, and it has spread to more than 40 countries. (LINK)
Why end a popular series when it’s selling so well all the time? In fact it is selling much better than “The Big Brother” and “Survivor” put together!
