Among the illegal migrants who ended up in Lithuania, there are people with links to terrorism, the authorities in Vilnius reported. More than 10 such people have been identified, some have already been deported – according to Lithuanian sources.
More than 10 people were detected who ended up in Lithuania as illegal migrants, and then it turned out that they are associated with terrorist organizations or groups.
Four people have already been deported. – About ten more are under surveillance. The decision to deport them has not yet been made – according to Darius Jauniskis, director of Lithuania’s State Security Department.
According to Lithuanian sources, a closed committee meeting was held in the Lithuanian parliament on Wednesday, with the participation of the leadership of the law enforcement agencies, during which possible links of some illegal migrants with terrorists were discussed. (SOURCE)
